Reese Witherspoon: Softball Training Day

Reese Witherspoon (in 291 sweatpants) goes in for the dive as she continues her softball training at a UCLA softball field in Los Angeles on Wednesday (April 15).

The 33-year-old actress and costar Owen Wilson have been brushing up on their softball/baseball for their upcoming movie, which is being directed by James L. Brooks (1997′s As Good as It Gets).

On Saturday, Owen visited the Texas Rangers baseball team. “We’ll teach him a few things,” TR relief pitcher Eddie Guardado said. “We’ll teach him how to chew the bubblegum, spit the seeds and hold the cup…”

Added TR relief pitcher C.J. Wilson: “He’ll learn some authentic lingo. He’ll have a chance to learn proper baseball vernacular for his movie, which is extremely rare. Most baseball movies are inauthentic in that respect.”
