Leighton Meester is a Bruised Babe

Leighton Meester is all bruised up as she films scenes with costar Minka Kelly for The Roommate on Thursday (May 7) in Pasadena, Calif.

In the movie, the 23-year-old Gossip Girl plays Rebecca, who becomes obsessed with her new roommate, Sara, played by Minka. The film also stars Cam Gigandet, Aly Michalka, and Matt Lanter.

Leighton is also working on a yet-to-be-named pop album due this fall. A single from the electro-pop style album is expected sometime in July.
