Thandie Newton is A Big Deal in Bahrain

Thandie Newton heads back to her car after doing some shopping in London on Monday (January 18).

The 37-year-old actress picked up some swag from Comptoir des Cotonniers while she went out for some retail therapy.

Thandie‘s film, 2012, was recently named the highest grossing film in Bahrain’s history, the Gulf Daily News reports.

“We always anticipated 2012 would be a big hit but we are delighted with its level of success, topping the biggest movies in recent years,” Mario Junior Haddad, the VP of sales and marketing at the film’s local distributor, said.
