Nancy Kerrigan’s Dad Dies, Brother Arrested

Figure skater Nancy Kerrigan‘s father has passed away, and her brother has been charged with assaulting him.

Daniel Kerrigan, 70, was found dead in the family’s home in Massachusetts over the weekend, according to the Associated Press. His son, Mark, 45, was charged with assault and battery and authorities identified the victim as his father.

According to the report, Mark told officers he struggled with his father after Daniel wouldn’t allow him to use the phone.

Nancy‘s mother Brenda told the Boston Herald that there was nothing suspicious about her husband’s death and that he’d died of a heart attack.
