Hilary Duff to Write Young Adult Books

Hilary Duff will add “author” to her long line of titles this year when she releases Elixir, a young adult novel, in October through Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing!

The 22-year-old newly engaged actress will share the adventures of photojournalist Clea Raymond, according to the AP. Clea’s got a gift – her photography leads her to a place where she can prevent tragedies before they occur!

Hil will also reportedly write a nonfiction book about kids coping with divorce based on her own experiences – expect the book to be on shelves in 2012!
