Kelly Clarkson Indonesia Concert Goes On Without Cigarette Sponsorhip

Kelly Clarkson‘s Indonesia concert will go on – without a sponsor.

The American Idol alum’s April 29th concert was sponsored by cigarette brand L.A. Lights, but after reaching an agreement with the brand’s parent company, Djarum, “there will be no [L.A. Lights] media promotion at the Kelly Clarkson concert,” promoter Adrie Subono told the AP.

ABC News notes that Alicia Keys was involved in a similar predicament two years ago when she learned that her show in Indonesia was sponsored by a Philip Morris affiliate.

Alicia insisted that the logo be removed from her promotional materials and performed the show once it was cig-free!
