Chris Klein Arrested on Suspicion of DUI

American Pie actor Chris Klein was arrested early Wednesday morning (June 16) in Los Angeles on suspicion of DUI.

The 31-year-old actor was stopped by an officer on L.A.’s 101 freeway just after 3 a.m. and did not pass a sobriety test, according to TMZ.

Last month, a bizarre video of Chris performing ABBA’s “Lay All Your Love on Me,” presumably for Mamma Mia!, surfaced online. Chris‘ rep had no comment when EW asked if the video was real.

UPDATE: TMZ reports that because Chris was arrested and convicted of DUI in 2004, he may serve jail time if he’s convicted again – California law mandates a minimum of a four-day sentence.
