Halle Berry: Conserve Energy!

Halle Berry steps out with a few friends to get some interior decorating ideas at the Discount Tile Center on Wednesday (June 23) in Los Angeles.

The 43-year-old actress is always one to support a good cause! She wore a t-shirt imploring people to conserve energy. The full text –in a shape of a lightbulb — reads, “Insulting your water heater can save 1,000 pounds of carbon dioxide a year and moving your thermostat down 2 degrees in the winter and up 2 degrees in the summer can save 500 pounds a year. Compact fluorescent lightbulbs save 60% more energy than regular lightbulbs. 50 billion pounds of carbon dioxide would be reduced if every US household switched to energy-saving lightbulbs.”
