David Beckham: Shirtless After Newcastle Jets Loss

A shirtless David Beckham jogs across the field after the L.A. Galaxy loses to the Newcastle Jets 2-1 on Saturday (November 27) at the EnergyAustralia Stadium in Newcastle, Australia.

The 35-year-old soccer star gave his shirt to a female fan in the crowd after the match. He also later sent one to Newcastle captain Kasey Wehrman.

“I normally wouldn’t have played but I think when a game like this comes up you want to play,” David told reporters. “Tonight was tough obviously, getting myself fit for it … aside from the back pain, I enjoyed the game.”

The day before, David played soccer with some kids and trained with his teammates in preparation for the Jets game.
