Demi Lovato: Bipolar Disorder Treatment!

Demi Lovato has opened up about her struggle with bipolar disorder.

“I never found out until I went into treatment that I was bipolar,” the 18-year-old singer and actress told People, adding, “Looking back it makes sense. There were times when I was so manic, I was writing seven songs in one night and I’d be up until 5:30 in the morning.”

Demi shared that after treatment, she’s able to take control of her life and make healthy and positive choices. “I feel like I am in control now where my whole life I wasn’t in control,” she dished.

FYI: Yesterday, Demi announced that she’ll be leaving her Disney Channel show, Sonny with a Chance, to focus on her music career.
