Paula Abdul: 'X Factor' Judge!

Paula Abdul will officially reunite with Simon Cowell on The X Factor!

The 48-year-old singer has closed a deal and signed on as a judge for the upcoming singing competition.

“I wanted so much to give you a confirmation sooner… Well here it is right now!,” Paula tweeted.

Simon, who previously worked with Paula on American Idol, L.A. Reid, and Cheryl Cole have all been officially confirmed as judges.

Nicole Scherzinger and British TV personality Steve Jones will host the show, which premieres this September.
