Jude Law: Cannes Lunch with Robert De Niro!

Jude Law waves to fans and photographers on Friday (May 20) in Cannes, France.

The 38-year-old British actor attended an official lunch for the mayor along with Robert De Niro, who’s the jury president for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.

The night before, Jude suited up and hit amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala, which fellow juror, Uma Thurman, also attended.

A London judge hearing the case into News of the World‘s phone hacking scandal has selected Jude and four others to act as lead cases in a trial set to begin early next year.

Jude‘s ex, Sienna Miller, recently accepted £100,000 ($162,500) in damages in her lawsuit against the U.K. tabloid.
