Prince William & Kate: Calgary Cowboys!

Prince William and his wife Kate smile for the crowd at the Calgary Stampede on Thursday (July 7) in Calgary, Canada.

The royal pair, both 29, wore white Stetsons and their cowboy finest at the historic event, which serves to preserve western heritage and values.

Earlier that day, Prince William and Kate arrived in Calgary and were greeted by an ill little girl who wished to meet the couple.

Next stop for the newlyweds on their North American tour is California! William is set to play in a charity polo match on Saturday afternoon.

The two will be special guests at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts dinner later that day.
