Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova - ESPY Awards 2011

Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova hit the press room backstage at the 2011 ESPY Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Wednesday (July 13) in Los Angeles.

Both of the tennis players made appearances on stage during the show to present awards.

Maria, 24, wore head to toe Alexander McQueen, including a custom made dress. She will be headlining at the Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo later this year.

Serena, 29, hosted the official ESPY kick-off party the evening before, where her pal Kim Kardashian showed up to support her.
