Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: I Was An Ugly Betty At 15

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and her beau Jason Statham stay close as they walk around Soho on Friday (December 16) in New York City.

The 24-year-old model and her boyfriend shopped around at the cute boutiques in the area.

Rosie recently spoke with Harpar’s Bazaar about her appearance when she was younger.

“I was a bit of an Ugly Betty when I was 15…I had braces,” Rosie said of her interning days when she would be “getting coffee, lighting people’s cigarettes.”

“It’s interesting coming from modeling, where women rule the industry, into one where there are so few great female parts and the competition is so much higher,” Rosie said of breaking into acting.
