While leaving the restaurant, TMZ caught up with Mariah and asked if she had any advice for Fergie, who sang the National Anthem at the NBA All-Star game that evening. Fergie‘s performance quickly went viral for the unique twist she put on the song.

Mariah responded by saying, “Darling, no one needs to listen to that!”

Mariah was widely criticized for her New Year’s Eve performance over a year ago when she experienced technical problems on live TV.
