Michaela Coel Has Joined 'Black Panther' Sequel In Mysterious Role

The Black Panther sequel has added Michaela Coel to the cast, according to Variety.

The 33-year-old actor will star in the upcoming film opposite Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, and more.

The site reports that Michaela has been spotted on the set of the movie, which is currently filming at Atlanta’s Pinewood Studios.

It’s been a big year for Michaela, who made a big impact in her HBO Max series I May Destroy You. She recently picked up a major BAFTA TV Award for it!

While not much is known about Black Panther 2, many stars have spoken out about how the movie will honor the legacy of Chadwick Boseman, who played the titular character in the first movie.

He sadly passed away after a private battle with colon cancer last year.
