Paul Greene Talks All About 'Fit For Christmas' & His Friendship With Amanda Kloots (Exclusive)

Paul Greene is opening up about his second holiday movie of the season, Fit For Christmas!

Airing tonight on CBS, the 48-year-old actor stars with Amanda Kloots in her acting debut.

JustJared.com was lucky enough to speak with Paul ahead of the premiere tonight, where he opened up about the flick, and his friendship with Amanda.

“It was fun, and it was special because Amanda, she had done Broadway stuff, but never led a movie like this,” Paul tells us. “She came up with this concept herself as she came to a challenging time with COVID and lost her husband Nick, and she was being comforted by Christmas movies and she kind of made a post and then that post got her on a podcast of a mutual friend.”

From there, Paul explains, that idea led to a meeting with the writer, Anna White, and then to CBS.

Paul recalled that the first day on set was him and Amanda having a dance rehearsal.

“The minute I met her I’m like, we’re fast friends and we’re like, oh my gosh, we’ve like known each other a long time. It was just immediate friendship chemistry was just off the charts and we just were pretty much inseparable.”

Paul added that “The stuff in the studio with her was hilarious because she’s teaching a dance and my character’s pretty clumsy with the all how fast her moves. There is a love triangle in the story, where she’s trying to decide whether she’s with her ex-boyfriend or not, or, and they’re on a break and she meets me and it’s, there’s a lot of conflict with him and there’s some really good comedy with him.”

“I love this movie,” Paul states. “It’s so fast and funny and people are gonna love it. It’s over too quick.”

Here’s the summary for the movie: Audrey, an enthusiastic Christmas-obsessed fitness instructor starts teaching classes at her beloved, financially beleaguered community center in quaint Mistletoe, Mont. She begins a holiday romance with a charming, mysterious businessman, complicating his plans to turn the center into a more financially profitable resort property.
