Jennifer Aniston Talks Potential 'Friends' Reboot, Watching Old Episodes & Her Relationship With Her Character Rachel

Jennifer Aniston opened up about all things Friends.

The 54-year-old actress became a household name playing Rachel Green alongside Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer on the beloved sitcom.

She and the rest of the cast returned for Friends: The Reunion back in 2021.

Was that the end of the saga? Jennifer revealed her thoughts on the future of the series during a recent interview. She also weighed in on her relationship with her character and talked rewatching old episodes.

Sadly, Jennifer didn’t have much hope for the future of Friends when asked about a potential reboot on The Jonathan Ross Show.

“I don’t think so,” she said. “I think that was it. I think that was the swansong.”

However, her Murder Mystery 2 co-star Adam Sandler pointed out that “you never know” for sure what the future holds. Jennifer did agree.

In the segment, she also spoke about her relationship with the rest of the cast, promising that they are still in touch on a regular basis.

“We will never shake each other. We are in each other’s lives forever. Family forever,” she said.

Jennifer revealed that she does sometimes watch older episodes of the show, joking that she forgets what is happening at times.

In a separate interview with Stellar Magazine, she shared that she will “always” love her character.

“I can’t escape her, actually,” she said, according to the Daily Mail. Despite that, she hinted again that she is happy to leave her in the past to a degree, saying she treats it like her other roles.

“I feel like I have done them all; wrap them up and put them in a neat pile and put them away,” she added.
