Kristin Chenoweth & Ricky Martin: GLAAD Media Awards Winners!

Kristin Chenoweth and Ricky Martin will be honored at this spring’s GLAAD Media Awards!

Kristin, 42, will be presented with the Vanguard Award in April, while Ricky, 39, will take home the Vito Russo Award at a March ceremony in NYC.

“Ricky coming out was a game changer for many gay and transgender Latino children, who for too long, did not have many out gay people to look up to,” GLAAD prez Jarrett Barrios said, adding, “When allies like Kristin take such powerful stands against anti-gay sentiments in the media, it sends an important message of equality.”
