Jon Hamm: 'Million Dollar Arm' Sports Agent

Jon Hamm is set to star in the upcoming Disney movie, Million Dollar Arm, reports Deadine.

The 41-year-old actor is rumored to start shooting scenes for the flick this fall.

Million Dollar Arm is based on the true story of how sports agent J.B. Bernstein (Hamm) discovered professional pitchers Rinku Singh and Dinesh Patel through a reality show he staged in India with cricket players.

Before being discovered, neither player had ever been outside their village before, so Bernstein had to teach them as much about American culture and speaking English as he did the rules of baseball. However, all the hard work paid off when Rinku and Dinesh got contracts with the Pittsburgh Pirates and became the first Indian players to get signed to pro baseball teams.
