When December rolls around, people are reaching for their all-time favorite Christmas movies to get them in a holly and jolly mood. For many of them, that winter-time favorite is The Holiday.

The festive romcom stars Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz as two down-on-their-luck women – a book editor who lives in London and a trailer maker from Los Angeles. After going through breakups, they decide to trade houses for the holidays, which puts them on the path to new romances.

It’s a timeless classic for so many reasons, and the exceptional cast made up of Hollywood mega-stars is one of them.

With such a talented cast, and more than a few A-list cameos, you might be wondering who is the wealthiest star in The Holiday. We did the digging to answer that question for you. Spoiler alert: You might have forgotten that the second-richest star even appeared in the movie until we remind you!

CBS has announced that Hawaii Five-0 will end this year after 10 seasons on the air.

Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan have been with the show throughout the entire series and their contracts end with the current season.

Alex suffered a back injury during one of the early seasons and he still is dealing with the pain from that accident. While he felt able to continue through season 10, he decided it was not possible to do additional seasons, according to Deadline.

Instead of finding a new star to replace Alex on the show, CBS decided it was time to end the series.

“This show has been pretty much every waking moment for the last 10 years of my life,” Alex said in a statement. “Everywhere I go on this planet, in every language, I am McGarrett to all these people. What we’ve done, what we’ve accomplished, it’s extraordinary. I can’t really put words to express my level of gratitude. I’m just glad to have been a part of this, a part of history and I’m going to miss it. And to the fans, I don’t know how to thank you guys. Thank you for following us the way you have. I’m going to miss you. Aloha.”

The series finale will be a two-hour episode airing on Friday, April 3.

Lucas Till, Alex O’Loughlin, and Jay Hernandez hit the blue carpet as they arrive at the 2019 PaleyFest on Saturday (March 23) at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

The guys attended the event to promote their CBS shows.

Joining Lucas on stage during the panel was his MacGyver co-star Tristin Mays while Jay stepped out solo to promote his show Magnum, P.I.

Alex was joined on the Hawaii Five-0 co-stars Ian Anthony Dale, Meaghan Rath, Peter M. Lenkov, Chi McBride, Beulah Koale, and Kimee Balmilero.

Alex O’Loughlin and his wife, Malia Jones, pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of his show Hawaii Five-0!

The 42-year-old actor and the 41-year-old surfer and model attended the Sunset On The Beach event, which also rang in the premiere of Magnum P.I., at Queen’s Surf Beach over the weekend in Waikiki, Hawaii.

They were joined by Magnum P.I.‘s Jay Hernandez and Perdita Weeks.

The next day, Alex was spotted filming a football scene with his co-stars Jorge Garcia, Meaghan Rath, Taylor Wily, Ian Anthony Dale, and Shawn Mokuahi Garnett.

Season nine of Hawaii Five-0 premieres on September 28, and season one of Magnum P.I. premieres on September 24, on CBS.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Alex O’Loughlin are all smiles while having an August Rush reunion, which was posted on Instagram!

“Thank you Alex and Malia for a delicious New Years dinner and great company. I love this lil Lion (and Spike). 😍,” Jonathan‘s rumored fiancee Mara Lane captioned the pic.

If you don’t remember, Jonathan and Alex were co-stars in 2007 film August Rush, which centered on “an orphaned musical prodigy who uses his gift as a clue to finding his birth parents.”

Alex O’Loughlin has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Malia Jones, according to People!

The 37-year-old Australian actor married the 37-year-old model and surfer on the islands of Hawaii, where he currently shoots his hit show Hawaii Five-0.

In case you didn’t know, Alex and Malia welcomed their first child Lion in October.

Alex also has a teenage son, Saxon, while Malia has a four-year-old son, Spike.

Congrats to the couple on their wonderful marriage!

Alex O’Loughlin and his co-star Scott Caan ride around in a small rental kart with the words “Rent Me” on the hood while filming scenes for their show Hawaii Five-0 on Tuesday afternoon (March 18) in Waikiki, Hawaii.

The duo rode around all morning into the afternoon for the scene, which shut down Kalakaua Avenue. This scene was for the finale episode of the season, which will air later in the Spring on May 9.

Hawaii Five-0 is on a bit of a hiatus until April 4, when it will return with the episode “Reunited” – we can’t wait!
