Baywatch is back!
Fox is ordering a reboot of the classic beach series in a co-production between Fremantle and Fox Entertainment, via Deadline.
Last year, Fox already had started conversations with Freemantle for the potential series while also developing another lifeguard drama franchise, Rescue: HI-Surf, from John Wells Prods.

Pamela Anderson still owns her iconic red, one-piece bathing suit from her Baywatch days!
The 52-year-old actress shared in a new interview that she still has one of her old bathing suit costumes from the beach drama, and not only does it still fits, she still wears it.

“Oh, I have one right here in my top drawer!” Pamela shared with Fox News. “It still fits.”
Pamela went on to add, “I have worn it on occasion just to be funny with my friends” while trying “to try to give them mouth to mouth.” Pamela then said that she mostly wears it at home “just around the living room.”
Pamela starred as lifeguard C.J. Parker on Baywatch from 1992 to 1997.
If you missed it, Pamela had some harsh words about the Baywatch movie.
Pamela Anderson has opened up about why she isn’t a big fan of the Baywatch movie, which starred Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
During a virtual episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this week, the 52-year-old actress, who played C.J. Parker in the original series, talked about her main issue with the movie adaption was.
“I didn’t like it,” she said. “Let’s just keep the bad TV as bad TV. That’s what’s charming about Baywatch, you know? Trying to make these movies out of television, is just messing with it.”
Pamela does believe, however, that the movie could have done better at the box office and with critics if there was a smaller budget.
“$65 million would make a good movie. We made our show for like $500,000,” she added. “You have the same explosions, the same sequences of water, that’s the fun part. Being creative.”
Baywatch, the movie, is streaming on Hulu now.

Zac Efron is opening up about the amazing shape he got in while starring in the Baywatch movie and he’s explaining why he never wants to get his body in that shape again.
The 32-year-old actor opened up in the latest episode of Hot Ones, where celebs answer questions while eating spicy chicken wings.
“That was actually a really important time to do Baywatch because I realized that when I was done with that movie, I don’t ever want to be in that good of shape again. Really. It was so hard,” Zac said in the interview. “You’re working with almost no wiggle room, right? You’ve got things like water under your skin that you’re worrying about, making your six-pack into a four-pack. S–t like that it’s just not … it’s just stupid.”
Zac‘s not totally turning down the possibility of getting into that shape again though.
“I’m happy that it worked, I’m happy that it got me through it. I may do it again if it was something worthwhile but we’ll wait till it gets to that,” Zac said. “I’m good. Take care of your heart, take care of your brain and you’re good.”

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is celebrating all of his awards – even the less prestigious ones!
The actor posted a picture of a commemoration plaque from Disney celebrating 5 million sales for the Moana soundtrack, as well as his Razzie Award, on his Instagram on Saturday (December 29).

In the caption, he addressed Baywatch‘s win for “The Razzie Nominee So Rotten You Loved It,” which he accepted with a video earlier in the year.
