A former contestant on The Voice, Beverly McClellan, has tragically passed away at the age of 49.
The Blast reports that she passed away after battling cancer on Tuesday (October 30), her close friend and music partner, Robyn Fear, confirmed.
She was surrounded by loved ones and her partner Monique at the time of her death.
Beverly was the third runner-up on the first season of The Voice and was part of Christina Aguilera‘s team.
