Sophia Bush and Brad Bird are looking sharp on the red carpet at the 2018 Hollywood Film Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (November 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Brad was awarded the Hollywood Animation Award during the ceremony.

Brad wrote and directed Incredibles 2, in which Sophia voiced the character Voyd.

“I was in public and I opened [the e-mail] and screamed really loud. I still have the PDF of it in my phone. [It had] The Incredibles family at the bottom and [it was on] Pixar letterhead. It’s very official and sweet. I opened it and I screamed and an entire restaurant full of people turned and looked at me, which was mortifying, but just so exciting. Kind of an out of body experience. This is a big bucket list thing for me and it happened,” Sophia previously said of discovering she booked the role.

FYI: Sophia is wearing an A.L.C. suit and an Adeam bag.

Sophia joined the cast of the animated film for the sequel as Voyd. Holly is returning as Helen Parr/Elastigirl!

Also in attendance at the event were Craig T. Nelson (Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible), Sarah Vowell (Violet Parr), Huck Milner (Dash), Catherine Keener (Evelyn Deavor), Bob Odenkirk (Winston Deavor), Samuel L. Jackson (Lucius Best/Frozone), John Ratzenberger (Underminer), and director Brad Bird, who also voiced Edna Mode.

Incredibles 2 will hit theaters on June 15!

Disney/Pixar released the clip on Friday (April 13).

In Incredibles 2, Helen (Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (Sarah Vowell), Dash (Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered.

Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.

Brad Bird, Bob Odenkirk, Catherine Keener, Jonathan Banks, Sophia Bush, and Isabella Rossellini also lend their voice talents. Brad also serves as director and writer.

The full cast of the upcoming Disney/Pixar movie Incredibles 2 has been announced, in addition to descriptions of their characters!

Returning are Craig T. Nelson as Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible, Holly Hunter as Helen Parr/Elastigirl and Samuel L. Jackson as Lucius Best/Frozone.

There are some exciting additions to the cast, including Sophia Bush, Isabella Rossellini, Bob Odenkirk, and Catherine Keener.

Here is the film’s official description: Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in Incredibles 2 – but this time Helen is in the spotlight, leaving Bob at home with Violet and Dash to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone must find a way to work together again�”which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.

After taking a romantic stroll together, Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes hold hands as they return to their hotel in Prague, Czech Republic on Wednesday (September 22).

Tom, co-star Simon Pegg, and director Brad Bird are in town to scout locations for the upcoming Mission: Impossible movie co-starring Jeremy Renner.
