The Sex & The City actress and gubernatorial candidate attended the 2018 New York City Pride Parade on Sunday (June 24) in New York City.

Cynthia wore a shirt with a rainbow heart that said “C <3 NY," and waved and took selfies with attendees as she marched through the street. She was also surrounded by supporters of her gubernatorial campaign, as well as wife Christine Marinoni.

Days before, Cynthia addressed various issues affecting the LGBTQ community during a panel at the ongoing Pride Place event in New York City.

Anderson Cooper and his partner Benjamin Maisani make a rare appearance together at a dinner to celebrate Alan Cumming‘s performance in Macbeth on Thursday (May 2) at the W Times Square’s WOW Suite in New York City.

The guys were joined by the man of the hour himself, as well as Cynthia Nixon (and wife Christine Marinoni), theater legend Liza Minnelli, Cyndi Lauper, and The Lone Ranger‘s Ruth Wilson.

Cynthia Nixon and wife Christine Marinoni take a stroll through NYC’s East Village on Wednesday (June 20).

The 46-year-old actress recently chatted with the Seattle Times about same-sex marriage.

“Washington state has traditionally been such a wonderfully progressive place,” she told the paper. “There is nothing to be afraid of … Let people get married. Nothing will happen.”

“You’ll get to make a lot of gay people very happy,” Cynthia, who got married in May, added, “and you’ll feel proud. That’s how we feel in New York. Proud.”

The 46-year-old actress is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for her work in the show Wit, which she shaved her head for earlier this year. Cynthia lost the award to Venus in Fur‘s Nina Arianda.

The 46-year-old actress walked her son Charles to school, while Christine pushed the couple’s 18-month-old baby, Max, in a stroller.

Cynthia and Christine, an education activist, tied the knot over the weekend in NYC. The two have been together for eight years.

For the nuptials, Cynthia wore a pale green gown by Carolina Herrera with a bouquet of white peonies, while Christine wore a suit with a darker green tie. Check out their wedding pic on People.com!
