So many famous faces in Hollywood can trace their family’s roots back to Ireland.

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day 2024, we rounded up 30 stars with Irish heritage. We’re pretty sure that you’ll already know about at least half of the people’s connection to Ireland.

One of them even joked that they were not Irish enough, despite having a DNA test confirm that they were more than 98% from the country. Others have been recognized at awards shows honoring their heritage or have starred in prominent Irish roles.

One even made history at the Oscars as the first Irish-born star to win Best Actor!

However, some of the celebrities on the list might surprise you. We say that because some of the celebrities themselves were even shocked to learn that they had family in Ireland in the past.

Colin Farrell's New Apple TV+ Series 'Sugar' Gets First Trailer - Watch Now!

Colin Farrell is returning to television in the upcoming Apple TV+ series Sugar and the first trailer has been released!

The new series is billed as “a contemporary, unique take on one of the most popular and significant genres in literary, motion picture and television history: the private detective story.”

Colin stars as John Sugar, “an American private investigator on the heels of the mysterious disappearance of Olivia Siegel, the beloved granddaughter of legendary Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel. As Sugar tries to determine what happened to Olivia, he will also unearth Siegel family secrets; some very recent, others long-buried.”
