Nicki Minaj spoke her mind about designer Giuseppe Zanotti after he snubbed her efforts to collaborate and now she wants him to make a charitable donation.

The famed shoe designer had been using Nicki‘s name on over 20 pairs of his sneakers without compensation and refused to take her calls about collaborating.

After Nicki took the issue to Twitter, the designer’s team responded by taking all shoes bearing her name off the website.

While Nicki admitted it was “a start,” she followed up by saying she didn’t want want compensation for the shoes but wanted the company to make a donation to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.

“I’d like them to donate to St. Jude’s Children’s hospital on my behalf. #GiuseppeWhatsGood Giorgina, I don’t wanna post your email…I’ll match whatever you give to #StJudesChildrensHospital up to half a million dollars. #23PairsOfSneakersLater yikes,” she wrote on her Twitter.

Nicki also included several messages about women speaking up for what they deserve in the worldplace.

Nicki Minaj is not happy with famed shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti after his brand named sneakers after her, but they won’t take her calls to collaborate.

There are 23 different sneakers named “Nicki” currently available on the brand’s website.

“This is wonderful. #GiuseppeZanotti seems to think it’s ok to name his sneakers after me but his PR says they won’t take our call. Lol,” Nicki tweeted on Friday (February 3). “I met #GiuseppeZanotti years ago. At which time, he told me I inspired him to design a sneaker in my honor. Wore them on the cover of Cosmo. Recently when he gave other artists capsule collections, my agency reached out and was told they’re not taking our call. �”.”

Nicki wrote a lot more tweets in her rant and even started a poll to ask her fans if Giuseppe should run her a check.

The 24-year-old actress met up with rapper Kanye West and famed shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti inside the party.
