Ellen Pomepeo arrives on the set of her hit TV show Grey’s Anatomy on Tuesday (September 11) in Los Angeles.
The 42-year-old actress filmed a scene that centered around a car crash.

Ellen‘s co-star Patrick Dempsey recently revealed on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he got in big trouble this summer for tweeting spoilers from set about the medical drama’s upcoming ninth season.
“I was just enthusiastic. I was like, ‘This is a great image. I should shoot this,’” Patrick said, referring to two pictures he tweeted of co-star Eric Dane laying in a hospital bed.
Grey’s Anatomy returns September 27 at 9pm ET.
