Stephanie Seymour is speaking publicly for the first time since the death of her son Harry Brant.
The young socialite passed away in January 2021 at the age of 24 after an accidental drug overdose.
Two years later, Stephanie is talking to WSJ. Magazine for the cover story of the Spring Women’s Fashion Issue. She’s opening up about what she’s learned and how she’s healing in the wake of the loss.

Naomi Campbell is remembering Harry Brant.
The 55-year-old supermodel wrote an emotional tribute on her Instagram to her late godson, who died of an accidental overdose at the age of 24 earlier this month.

“It’s taken me a few days to get my head around this to digest the fact my beautiful godson Harry has gone to the spiritual world. Since you were a baby you had this innate magical joy, that you bought [sic] to all who was around you, I would take you to meetings, and they would ask me, if they could hire you, you were not even 10 years old, smart as a whip, creativity bursting from you on every level,” she wrote.
“Harry you’ve taken [sic] piece of my heart, we never judged each other, our [relation]ship was always honest. Too young, to go. I will love you unconditionally always,” he continued.
Peter Brant Jr. also penned a heartbreaking tribute for his late brother.
Peter Brant Jr. is speaking out following the death of his younger brother Harry Brant.
The 24-year-old socialite and son of model Stephanie Seymour died on Sunday after an accidental overdose.
Peter wrote on his Instagram account, “Today we lay to rest, and honor the life of my brother, a true angel of light, an extraordinarily unique soul unlike any who have come before.”

“This photo taken on his last day, shows the eternal beauty he will forever hold,” Peter wrote. “It is impossible to express the devastation I feel for the loss of one with whom I shared not only a lifetime of beautiful memories, but with one who cared so deeply for my own happiness, was so devoted to my personal comfort, It is the loss not only of a brother, but of a best friend, my other half. My heart shatters to think we will never see that dear sweet face again.”
Harry Brant has sadly passed away at the young age of 24.
The socialite’s family told the New York Times that he died from an accidental drug overdose of prescription drugs following a years-long struggle with addiction.
“We will forever be saddened that his life was cut short by this devastating disease,” his family said in a statement. “He achieved a lot in his 24 years, but we will never get the chance to see how much more Harry could have done.”
“Harry was not just our son,” the statement continued. “He was also a wonderful brother, loving grandson, favorite uncle and a caring friend. He was a creative, loving and powerful soul that brought light into so many people’s hearts. He was truly a beautiful person inside and out.”
Harry was the son of model Stephanie Seymour and billionaire Peter Brant. He and his brother Peter Jr. were often on red carpets and at fashion shows together for many years. Harry was also often seen hanging out with many big stars throughout the years.
During quarantine, Harry put his creativity to work and wrote a feature for Interview Magazine in which he talked to fashion designer Marc Jacobs about why men should wear makeup.
“To me, wearing makeup is almost like a sense of armor that can be wielded whichever way I want, as a completely transformative form of self-expression,” Harry said in the piece.

Harry Brant was arrested last week after not paying his cab fare and for possessing drugs.
The 20-year-old son of model Stephanie Seymour and billionaire art collector Peter Brant stiffed a cabbie of a $27.85 fare in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Cops found Harry and he was allegedly “sweating profusely and pale.” The police report says that he fessed up to the crime and said he didn’t have the money to pay the fare.
Harry resisted arrest and refused to give his name to the cops, but one of the officers recognized him.
“Officers were able to grab ahold of Brant and take him to the ground,” reads the police report (via Page Six). “Brant continued to resist officers’ attempts to place him under arrest by tensing his muscles while swinging his arms and kicking his legs. Officers were finally able to place him in handcuffs.”
Police found “a white substance that later tested positive for narcotics” when they searched him. He was charged with “larceny in the sixth degree, illegal possession and interfering with an officer.”
Harry‘s arrest comes just four months after his older brother Peter was arrested for assaulting a cop at JFK Airport and seven months after their mom Stephanie was arrested for DUI.
