John Legend sings loud for the crowd during The Alliance For Children’s Rights 28th Annual Dinner held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday night (March 5) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 41-year-old performer joined host Anthony Anderson, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and wife Caitriona, Joanna Coles and Dan Bucatinsky, Jaina Lee Ortiz, Caroline D’Amore, Alfonso Ribeiro and Taran Killam at the event.

Karey Burke, President of ABC Entertainment, and Susan Saltz, Child Advocate and Film Producer, were both honored at the annual dinner.

The Alliance For Children’s Rights’s mission is to protect the rights of children in poverty and those overcoming abuse and neglect.

John recently shared a cute tribute to wife Chrissy Teigen on Valentine’s Day.

Katie Holmes and Sarah Jessica Parker step out to attend the Hearst 100 luncheon on Monday (December 11) at Michael’s Restaurant in New York City.

The event was hosted by Hearst’s Chief Content Officer Joanna Coles and celebrated the powerful women in the industry.

Some of the other people in attendance included actress Jenna Coleman, CBS This Morning‘s Gayle King and Norah O’Donnell, tennis player Billie Jean King, musician Patti Scialfa and daughter Jessica Springsteen, and more.

“I think it’s fair to say that since last year a lot has gone down. We are currently having the most extraordinary discussion about sexual harassment,” Coles said (via WWD).

“I’ve actually placed a survivor of sexual harassment at every table. I’m talking about the potted plants,” she joked. This was in reference to how Harvey Weinstein allegedly ejaculated into a potted plant in front of one of his victims.

The film is getting a ton of awards buzz and will likely be a major contender at the Oscars next year. Ruth and Joel are both frontrunners to receive nominations for their performances in the film, in theaters on November 4.

The stars of the movie stepped out the night before in the Big Apple for the film’s premiere.

Also in attendance at the lunch were The Color Purple‘s Cynthia Erivo and Hearst magazine’s Joanna Coles.

Cynthia Erivo sits next to Hearst chief content officer Joanna Coles while attending the Marissa Webb fashion show held during New York Fashion Week on Thursday (September 8) at The Gallery, Skylight at Clarkson Sq in New York City.

The 29-year-old actress, who won the Tony Award this year for her work in Broadway’s The Color Purple, attended W Magazine‘s It Girls luncheon the day before.

Also in attendance at the fashion show were Michelle Williams, model Coco Rocha, Jessica Lowndes, Katie Cassidy, Louise Roe, stylist Brad Goreski, and blogger Aimee Song.

Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim Kardashian wear all black while hitting the red carpet at Cosmopolitan’s 50th Birthday Celebration at Ysabel on Monday (October 12) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The reality star sisters were joined at the event by their younger sister Kylie Jenner, who opted for a white outfit and temporary blonde hair, and mom Kris Jenner.

“I didn’t get the ‘wear all black’ email,” Kylie wrote on her Instagram account along with a photo from the carpet. To comment on her blonde hair, she wrote, “Just for the night.”

Earlier in the day, Khloe took to her Twitter account to respond to comedian Amy Schumer‘s jokes about her and her family during Saturday Night Live.

Natalie Dormer hits the red carpet at the 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner held at the Washington Hilton on Saturday (April 27) in Washington, D.C.

The 31-year-old Game of Thrones actress walked the carpet with Joanna Coles, the editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine and a mentor on Project Runway.
