Hilary Swank and her boyfriend John Campisi have split after a five-year relationship.

The 38-year-old actress and her beau split earlier this summer and she has spent the past few months working on the film Mary & Martha in South Africa and Wilmington, N.C., according to People.

Hilary was previously married to Pretty Little Liars actor Chad Lowe for ten years and split in 2007.

Mary & Martha, a television movie about two mothers who lose their sons to malaria, also stars Sam Claflin and Brenda Blethyn.

Hilary Swank jets out of LAX airport in Los Angeles on Wednesday (the day after Christmas) with boyfriend (and longtime agent) John Campisi.

The 33-year-old actress has been busy doing press junkets for her romantic comedy P.S. I Love You costarring Gerard Butler.

Hilary recently made a New Year’s resolution–aiming for a more balanced lifestyle and some weekends off.

“To try to find some balance in my life, I need to balance it a little bit better,” she said. “Maybe taking a weekend for myself here and there, that would be good.”

Sheryl Crow takes a dip in the pool with son Wyatt, 2 1/2 months, while vacationing in Ischia, a volcanic island in the Tyrrhenian Sea, at the northern end of the Gulf of Naples, off the coast of Italy.

Hilary, 32, and John, 39, have been together for about a year coming this summer.

The Million Dollar Baby will next star opposite Scottish Hunk Gerard Butler in the romantic comedy P.S. I Love You, out Dec. 21.

Hilary, 32, and John, 39, spent a romantic holiday on Italy’s Lake Como over the Easter weekend.

The canoodling couple even stopped by the villas of celebrity pal George Clooney and designer Donatella Versace.

Of their PDA-filled vacation, this picture of Campisi wearing Swank‘s headband is the cutest!

FYI: The melanoma awareness and fundraising t-shirt worn by John Campisi is by Marc Jacobs. The front slogan reads “Protect the Skin You’re In” and the back reads “Save Your Ass.”
