This is cute! Renee Zellweger‘s former co-star Jonathan Lipnicki congratulated her on her win at the 2020 Oscars for her work in Judy!

If you don’t know, the pair played a mom and son in Jerry Maguire alongside Tom Cruise in the 1996 film. It looks like Jonathan is still supporting his movie mom after all these years!

“Congrats Mom!!! #Oscars,” Jonathan tweeted when she was awarded the Best Actress prize.

If you missed it, Jonathan Lipnicki once opened up about being bullied and developing depression and anxiety.

Glen Powell and Lily Rabe are in attendance for a special screening of Why We Hate at the Museum of Tolerance on Monday (October 7) in Los Angeles.

Executive producers Steven Spielberg and Alex Gibney, as well as series directors Geeta Gandbhir and Samuel D. Pollard were in attendance at the special screening.

Andie MacDowell, Ahna O’Reilly, Bradley Whitford, Stephen D. Smith, Xenia Bernal, Caleb Landry Jones, Ursula Martens, Edith Umugiraneza, Jonathan Lipnicki, Rocky Dawuni and Sasha Havlicek all attended the event.

The new Discovery series is an exploration into the human condition for hatred and how we can overcome it.

Here’s a summary: “Why We Hate explores one of humanity’s most primal and destructive emotions – hate. At the heart of this timely series is the notion that if people begin to understand their own minds, they can find ways to work against hate and keep it from spreading.”

Jonathan Lipnicki is opening up about growing up as a child star.

The 26-year-old actor – who is best known for his roles in Jerry Maguire and Stuart Little – recently took to Instagram where he shared that he suffered from bullying and depression while he was younger.

“”As a kid/teen, I was made fun of relentlessly by some people who are now even my friends on FB,” Jonathan shared. “I was told I was a has-been and would never book a job again.”

Jonathan went on to say that he would suffer from panic attacks nights before school.

However, Jonathan went on to say that he was able to defeat his bullies and stay strong.

“Im sharing a little of my experience. It gives me anxiety being this open, but being bullied is a universal problem. I am not a victim, but rather empowered because I was able to turn to my art. I am grateful for the amazing life I have and I hope I can pass on that it DOES get better. As much as it is easier said than done, overcoming being bullied is a reality and I hope this resonates with all of you,” Jonathan shared.

Jonathan Lipnicki is opening up about working with Tom Cruise in the hit movie Jerry Maguire, which premiered 20 years ago!

The 26-year-old actor stopped by Access Hollywood and had nothing but nice things to say about him.

“I mean he is the best person to work with,” he said about Tom. “And the fact that I got to work with him on my first movie really set a great tone for someone to look up to. He’s the ultimate professional. To this day, I see every Tom Cruise movie that comes out.”

“He gave me actually advice pretty recently like four years ago,” Jonathan added. “I went over to his house because I actually — I cold-called his office at United Artists and asked for advice and, you know, he got back to me and I went over and he is such a hard worker in what he told me about hard work and being respectful. I mean a big part of his success he attributes to being on time and being polite to people and knowing people’s names and it was incredible to sit down with one of your favorite actors and have an hour long conversation about acting.”

The 30-year-old actor was joined on the carpet by his co-stars Darby Stanchfield, Sara Ramirez and Jonathan Lipnicki.
