American Idol season nine winner Lee DeWyze has married fiancee of one year, Jonna Walsh!

“It was really our style of wedding,” the 26-year-old singer told People. “Outdoors with chandeliers.”

Lee and Jonna tied the knot on Saturday afternoon (July 21) in Camarillo, Calif.

“It was mermaid shaped because I look like a ridiculous cupcake in a ball gown,” Jonna said of her Lili Bridal strapless vintage-style lace embroidered gown.

“Lee went on his Asian tour, but I’ve never been there,” Jonna said of her and Lee‘s honeymoon location of Bali. “We are excited to go see some monkeys!”

The 25-year-old singer popped the question to Jonna, his girlfriend of eight months, over champagne on a private yacht under a fireworks-filled sky at Disney World, according to People.

“Jonna is a Disney freak,” Lee said. “They were playing love songs on the boat and I got down on my knee and asked her. I had a speech prepared but it all went out the window so I just asked her. She started crying and I said, ‘Is that a yes?’”

Lee and Jonna, 26, met on the set of the music video for his single “Sweet Serendipity.” They will be married in the fall of 2012.
