Kristy Swanson has been hospitalized with COVID-19 complications.

The 51-year-old actress, who has been outspoken about the COVID-19 vaccine, took to social media to share the news with her followers.

“Prayers for me please. Yesterday I took an ambulance ride to the hospital. I’m still here with pneumonia, I’m on oxygen etc, all covid related of course. I’m in good spirits and in great hands. ❤️🙏🏼,” she wrote.

Many replies on her post urged her to get vaccinated following the news.

Kristy added, “Thank you all for the prayers it truly means a lot to me. I can feel it Hugging face. Just little more clarification & update, I was just at the tail end of my Covid diagnosis when it jumped into my lungs. So they are treating me with Baricitinib & blood thinners so I don’t clot. I’m ok.”

“Virtua memorial in Mount Holly NJ has been incredible,” she went on. “They are so on top it and have a wonderful staff. My night nurse is Rose and I love her because she takes care of me and that’s my moms name. The paramedics in NJ are super pro, friggin amazing and hot AF! I’m doing great.”

The 49-year-old Buffy the Vampire Slayer star and the 51-year-old Glee alum fought over President Donald Trump supporters on Twitter on Monday (July 29).

When Patrick retweeted a video of women wearing “Make America Great Again” hats and said it’s “why people laugh at America,” Kristy responded: “You are a Canadian making a living as an ‘actor’ in The United States Of America. If you’re so embarrassed by our Country that is putting food on your table, I’d be more than happy to purchase your 1 Way ticket back to America’s Hat.

“You were a diva and rude when I worked with you… Looks like you haven’t changed gotten any more class,” he wrote back of their 1997 film Bad to the Bone.

“Didn’t even bother to do the research..I’m an American citizen..typical troll with the…typical Trumpster class and thin skin,” he added.

“I simply stuck up for America with class while keeping a sense of humor about it. If you want to play victim that you got trolled, that’s on you,” she fired back.
