Who Did George W. Bush Vote For? Neither Clinton or Trump!

George W. Bush did not vote for either major party candidate – Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump – in the presidential election this year.

The former President of the United States was rumored to have voted for Clinton after conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh made the announcement on Election Day.

Rush is wrong and should apologize,” Bush family spokesman Freddy Ford told CNN. The spokesman added to The Texas Tribune that the former president and his wife Laura Bush “didn’t vote for Hillary and they didn’t vote for Trump.”

Limbaugh ended up posted a correction on his website.

“We’ve been told by President George W. Bush’s office that President Bush did not vote for Hillary Clinton as was reported on today’s show. He voted two weeks ago and did not vote for her,” the statement read.

While it is not known who Bush voted for, they reportedly voted for local Republicans.
