Lisa Marie Presley and her husband Michael Lockwood named their new twin girls Harper and Finley, reports Star.

The 40-year-old daughter of Elvis Presley gave birth to the newborn babies on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, Calif. They arrived via C-section and weighed 5 lbs., 15oz. and 5 lbs., 2 oz.

“The babies and mom are happy and healthy and resting at home,” Lisa Marie’s rep said in a statement over the weekend.

Lisa Marie Presley gave birth to twin girls on Friday, reports Star.

The 40-year-old daughter and heir of Elvis Presley welcomed her daughters with 47-year-old musician husband Michael Lockwood by her side at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, Calif. Lisa Marie’s two older children, Riley, 21, and Ben, 16, from her first marriage to Danny Keough, were also present for the twins’ arrival.

“Lisa Marie is mom to four now! She’s feeling good, a little tired too,” a family friend reveals. “She is so happy and Michael is ecstatic. He’s wanted to be a dad for so long. This is his dream come true…. The babies are healthy and beautiful. Ben was seen pushing them down the hall in their cart and cooing to them.”

ET confirmed the news that the 40-year-old daughter of The King is expecting twins this fall with 47-year-old husband Michael Lockwood.

Expectant grandmother Priscilla Presley shared, “It’s a shock because you think, ‘twins, oh my gosh, what are we going to do with them?’ Lisa Marie wanted it really to be kept a secret for a long time, you know, and I think women should, because they should be able to announce what they’re having and when it’s time to make the announcement.”

Priscilla reminds us that twins run in the Presley family, saying, “I have twin brothers and then of course Elvis had a twin brother.” (Elvis’s brother was stillborn and given the name Jesse Garon.)

The 40-year-old daughter of rock’n’ roll king Elvis Presley and her 46-year-old guitarist and music producer husband expect their first child together this fall.

Presley has two children from her previous marriage with Danny Keough-–daughter Riley, 18, and son Benjamin, 15.

Priscilla kicks off the new season of Dancing With The Stars on Monday on ABC at 8/7c. Other contestants this season include: TV personality Adam Carolla, 43; Actress Shannon Elizabeth, 34; R&B singer Mario, 21; Tennis star Monica Seles, 34; and Olympic skater Kristi Yamaguchi, 36.

Priscilla, 62, has already stated that she does not intend to dance to any Elvis songs during the competition.

Lisa Marie Presley is pregnant with her third child but is not happy about the way media handled pictures of her gaining weight.

Under the subject, “Confirmation Under the Gun,” Lisa Marie writes on her Myspace:

“After being the target all week of slanderous and degrading stories, horribly manipulated pictures and articles in the media, I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am in fact pregnant.

Once they got a glimpse of my expanding physique a few days ago, they have been like a pack of coyotes circling their prey whilst eerily howling with delight. Starting with a London publication and then New York and Chicago all writing false defamatory degrading stories about all of the dark possible reasons I could be putting on weight. The US tabloids have been calling all day wanting confirmation on all kinds of insane theories.

They couldn’t wait to find out if my weight gain was because I was just overeating, in which case It would be open season and they can do the old following in her fathers sad and unfortunate demise story again or less interesting for them and probably much to their dismay, I could just be pregnant and therefore have a legitimate reason for weight gain at which point they should probably wipe the saliva off of their fangs and put them back in their mouths or they may expose the black little souls that they are.

Now that things are confirmed, hopefully they can stop all of the harassment and I can stop dodging the continuous bullets.

It is unfortunate that I couldn’t have announced something that is this much of a blessing and that has made us so incredibly happy under better circumstances.
How they have handled themselves with this has been nothing short of irresponsible and disgusting.

Pardon my seething contemptuous tone but ladies, You KNOW if you were pregnant and you felt you were expanding uncontrollably by the moment as a result and the worldwide media started badgering and harassing you for it, plastering you everywhere in an unflattering light, you would be mortified as well.
