Most Controversial & Banned Music Videos of All Time

The music icons of our day love to push boundaries and challenge the public – with their sound, their style, and of course, their controversial music videos.

Some of our favorite pop entertainers, rappers and rock stars have made music videos that have tested the limits of what is acceptable on network television – and, in some cases, they’ve even benefitted from the allure and added curiosity of having their music videos banned from networks.

From flashing ample amounts of skin, to violence and gore, to inciting outrage with controversial political views, to potentially even causing harm from flashing visual elements, there’ve been all different reasons why music videos from top stars were not allowed to see light of day. (And sometimes, the stars go on to regret their biggest hits.)

We’ve gathered up some of the most controversial, banned music videos over the years. Are there any music videos from your favorite artists that also sparked a ton of controversy? Sound off in the comments!

“If I have to choose the vaccine or chip I’m gonna choose death,” she wrote.

When a follower asked why she was anti-vaccine, she wrote: “Most of science is in bed with business. Business is in bed with banks, banks are in bed with tech, techs in bed with us, we re in bed with corona. Corona is in bed with science. So on… the best is prevention.”

Another fan expressed their disappointment with her stance as an anti-vaxxer: “Yeah in America they made me vaccinate my child before the school admission. It was the hardest thing. To not have choice over this as a mother. I never wanna feel that again. He was so sick for 3 weeks then Docs had to pump him with antibiotics to reduce the fever from 3 vaxins.”

She also went on to say that she did not like having choice taken away from her children: “As an adult you have choice! By then you’ve built your immune system. You have a choice as an ‘adult’ wishing you all good health.

“Don’t panic you are ok. You are not gonna die. You can make it without stressing the medical systems. Just breathe. You are going to be ok. You can make it through without jumping in the frying pan. You are fine. All the vaccines you ve already had is enough to see you through,” she later added.

M.I.A.‘s tweets come amid reports of a coronavirus vaccine in the works amid the pandemic.
