Beyonce just gave fans a very sweet glimpse into her family life!
The 42-year-old Renaissance icon took to social media on Monday (September 11) to share a rare photo with both of her parents – Tina and Matthew Knowles – from what appears to be her birthday celebration.

Mathew Knowles is opening up about his battle with breast cancer.
The 67-year-old music executive and father of Beyonce and Solange just revealed that he was diagnosed with the disease this past July.
While male breast cancer is rare, it is possible for men to have a mutation on the BRCA2 gene. Matthew has already had surgery and is doing well but plans to have his second breast removed next year.
“I am going to get the second breast removed in January, because I want to do anything I can to reduce the risk. We use the words ‘cancer-free,’ but medically there’s no such thing as ‘cancer-free.’ There’s always a risk…My kids have a 50% to 70% chance of getting the BRCA mutation and breast cancer. That’s male or female. We used to think this was only an issue for women, but this is male or female,” Mathew told ABC.
He added, “Breast cancer has been prevalent in our family. I want men and women to be aware – if you detect the cancer early you can have a low mortality rate and live a normal life. If you find breast cancer, stage 1 or stage 2, you have a really good shot at a normal life.”

The 35-year-old entertainer’s father confirmed the arrival of the little ones with a sweet message on Twitter.

“They’re here!#beyonce #twins #jayz #happybirthday,” he captioned a photo a photo of a personal message in which he says “Happy birthday to the twins! Love, Granddad.”
Bey and Jay Z happily welcomed the babies earlier this week, but the names and sex have yet to be announced.
The family is reportedly still in the hospital after they had a “minor issue,” but are expected to be fine.

Beyonce‘s dad, Matthew Knowles, will not be managing her career from now on, JustJared.com can confirm.
“I’ve only parted ways with my father on a business level. He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me,” the 29-year-old entertainer said in statement.
“I grew up watching both he and my mother manage and own their own businesses. They were hard-working entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps,” she added.
Matthew worked as Beyonce‘s manager since she was part of Destiny’s Child.
