Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen are teaming up for a new Peacock series!
The 50-year-old Pitch Perfect actress and the 49-year-old Succession actor will be starring in the romantic dramedy series The Miniature Wife from creators, showrunners and executive producers Jennifer Ames, and Steve Turner.
The upcoming show, based on the short story written by Manuel Gonzalez, has already received a straight to series order.

It was a bittersweet night for the cast of Succession at the SAG Awards!
The stars of the HBO series attended their final awards show together at the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday (February 24) at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen, Kieran Culkin, Alexander Skarsgard, and more were all in attendance to accept the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. They beat out the casts of The Crown, The Gilded Age, The Last of Us, and The Morning Show.
Also there were Nicholas Braun, Juliana Canfield, Dagmara Dominczyk, Justine Lupe, Arian Moayed, Scott Nicholson, David Rasche, J. Smith-Cameron, and Zoe Winters.
Noticeably absent were Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, and Sarah Snook, as they’re all working on stage plays at the moment.

The stars of Succession are dressed to impress at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards!
Brian Cox, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, Alexander Skarsgard, and J. Smith-Cameron all hit the carpet on Monday (January 15) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
Succession counts a total of 27 nominations – the most of any show.
Brian, Kieran, and Jeremy Strong are up for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, as Kieran emerged victorious!
Sarah is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in the same category.
Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series saw Nicholas, Matthew, Alexander, and Alan Ruck score nominations, with Matthew taking home the trophy!
J. Smith-Cameron is up for Outstanding Supporting Actress.
Succession is also looking to win its fourth Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series.

This is actually the 2023 Emmy Awards show, which was scheduled to take place in September. The ceremony was delayed due to the Hollywood labor disputes, so it was added to the awards season calendar on a Monday night. The Emmys will air live on Fox with Anthony Anderson hosting the event. Succession swept the drama categories at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards!
The HBO series picked up three awards on Sunday (January 14) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.
Succession won for Best Drama Series, as well as Best Actor in a Drama Series for Kieran Culkin and Best Actress in a Drama Series for Sarah Snook. They posed for some cute photos in the press room after accepting their awards!
Also in attendance were Matthew Macfadyen, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, and Nicholas Braun.
Kieran and Matthew were joined by their wives, Jazz Charton and Keeley Hawes, respectively.
During his speech, Kieran told a funny story about Sarah and Jazz plucking his ear hair during the show.

Succession is the big winner of the night!
The HBO series won the award for Best TV Series – Drama at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Also during the awards show, Sarah Snook and Kieran Culkin won the Best Actress and Best Actor awards for their roles in the series while Matthew Macfadyen won the Best Supporting Actor award.
Fellow Succession stars Nicholas Braun, J. Smith-Cameron, and Alan Ruck, with wife Mireille Enos, and Kieran‘s wife Jazz Charton also attended the event.

Deadpool 3 is coming!
The third movie in the Deadpool series is underway, and there are some exciting names attached to the project.
Shawn Levy will direct, with Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese returning to write the script.
The original movie follows a wisecracking mercenary who gets experimented on and becomes immortal but ugly, and sets out to track down the man who ruined his looks.
Deadpool 3 hits theaters on November 8, 2024.
