Nancy O’Dell is leaving Entertainment Tonight after almost nine years on the air.

The 53-year-old television personality shared the news during Friday night’s (August 2) episode, explaining she wanted to spend more time with her 12-year-old daughter Ashby.

“As I take on that list of things still to come, it means leaving this position, but it does not mean I am leaving the genre. I’ll be back, and it won’t be long. I’m going to enjoy some time off with the most wonderful gal in my life, my daughter, because they grow up way too fast. She is always my priority and then I’ll focus on my new project,” Nancy said.

She added a tribute to her former manager and agent John Ferriter, who passed away just a week ago.

Nancy continued, “Shortly before his passing, he told me life is too short, do what makes you happy, you’re creating your own best life. I think I’ve heard Oprah say that too — two smart people — but I’m proud to have this show as part of my story. This last sign off is for you, John, and for all the viewers whom I have an unbreakable bond with from our daily chance to talk all things entertainment. That bond will never change. So, it’s not goodbye, but rather just turning the page to the next chapter.”

We can’t wait to see what Nancy does next!

Ryan Seacrest has arrived at the 2018 Grammy Awards!

The 43-year-old TV host hit the red carpet for music’s big night at Madison Square Garden on Sunday (January 28) in New York City.

He was joined by fellow TV personalities Giuliana Rancic, who showed some skin in a stunning black gown, and Brad Goreski, looking dapper in a printed suit and colorful shirt.

Also in attendance were Kristin Cavallari, Erin Lim, Keltie Knight, who snapped some pics with Eve on the carpet, and Nancy O’Dell.

Tune in for the Grammys, hosted by James Corden, TONIGHT at 7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT on CBS.

Nancy O’Dell and magician David Copperfield poked fun at the Best Picture mishap at the Oscars during the 2017 Academy Of Country Music Awards held at Toshiba Plaza on Sunday (April 2) in Las Vegas, Nev.

While presenting the first award of the night – Song of the Year – David opened the envelope and announced the winner as “Emma Stone, La La Land.”

At the Oscars in February, the back-up envelope for Best Actress was handed to presenter Warren Beatty when he went to announce the award for Best Picture and the wrong winner was announced.

The award for Song of the Year actually went to Thomas Rhett for “Die a Happy Man” and he poked fun at the joke in his acceptance speech.
