Nikki Blonsky is in love and her partner Hailey Jo Jensen is sharing a sweet sentiment about their relationship!

The 33-year-old Hairspray actress, who starred in the movie musical as Tracy Turnblad, revealed her relationship with Hailey last month in a Pride Month post. She came out as gay two years ago.

“I just wanted to take a moment and properly introduce you to @theyleyjo the person who makes my heart sing and the one who makes me the happiest gal on the planet! I love everything about Hailey but one of my absolute favorite parts about being Hailey’s girlfriend is I get to be around their stunningly creative mind everyday!” Nikki wrote.

Hailey revealed in a TikTok video this week that their childhood crush just so happened to be Nikki!

Nikki Blonsky is reflecting on her decision to come out as gay.

The 31-year-old Hairspray actress spoke out in an interview with THR on Tuesday (June 30) following her announcement.

During the conversation, Nikki revealed that she already heard from co-star John Travolta.

“I have. I did not want the person who played my mother to have to find out about this from anybody else. I felt the need to tell him myself so I texted him and we had a lovely conversation. I love him with all my heart. I couldn’t have been more honored to have played his daughter. He is one of the finest human beings you’re ever going to meet,” she explained.

“Hi, it’s Nikki Blonsky and I’m coming out! #pride,” Nikki captioned the video while dancing around in her backyard to Diana Ross’ hit song “I’m Coming Out.”

Nikki then took to the comments to write, “It’s incredibly true!!! Thank you so much for the love and support!”

Nikki starred as Tracy Turnblad in the 2007 film version of Hairspray.

If you missed it, Nikki recently took part in the “Baltimore Challenge” on TikTok, in which people are lip syncing to her version of the musical’s opening number “Good Morning Baltimore.”

The 31-year-old actress got on the hood of a truck and filmed a video for the “Baltimore Challenge” on TikTok, in which people are lip syncing to her version of the musical’s opening number “Good Morning Baltimore.”

In the movie, she filmed a portion of the song on the top of a garbage truck.

Nikki was recently asked if she has a favorite song from the movie.

“Yes and no because they’re all magical, and they all have different meanings to me, you know? I can’t help but think about the time when I filmed it — that’s what popped into my head — so for me the most magical scene for me to film was on top of the garbage truck (during ‘Good Morning Baltimore’),” Nikki told The Post Athens. “That or coming down in the rocket (during ‘You Can’t Stop The Beat’). But ‘I Can Hear The Bells’ is so iconic, too. One of my favorite dances, though, definitely ‘Ladies’ Choice’ but also ‘Welcome to the 60’s’ with John, because that was just so fun to be out there at 3 o’clock in the morning and just performing with an idol of mine.”

Nikki Blonsky hits the stage for a performance during day two of DragCon on Saturday (May 25) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old actress made her movie debut in 2007 as Tracy Turnblad in the movie Hairspray and she performed the film’s song “Good Morning Baltimore” for the crowd.

Nikki was at the convention for all three days, running a booth where she sold merchandise and met fans.

“Day 2 was an amazingly busy and exciting day! Everything from my performance to my panel reading was absolutely incredible!” she wrote on Instagram.

Frozen on Broadway stars Caissie Levy, Patti Murin, Greg Hildreth and John Riddle also hosted a panel.

Drag Race judges including Ross Mathews, Todrick Hall and Carson Kressley, as well as superstar contestants including Alyssa Edwards, Peppermint, Kim Chi, Dusty Ray Bottoms, Eureka, Kameron Michaels, Mayhem Miller, Miz Cracker, Monét X Change, The Vixen, Miss Vangie, Detox, Asia O’Hara, Bob the Drag Queen, Sasha Velour, Ginger Minj, Thorgy Thor, Yuhua Hamasaki, Bebe Zahara Benet, Aquaria, Blair St. Clair and Kalorie Karbdashian Williams were also in attendance.

Nikki Blonsky, who played Tracy Turnblad in the 2007 movie, is reacting to the airing of Hairspray Live! last night!

The 28-year-old actress took to Instagram and wrote, “Congrats to the cast of @nbchairspraylive on a job well done from myself and the rest of the Hairspray Movie Cast! #SetLife #YouCantStopTheBeat”

Before the airing, Just Jared spoke with Nikki about what she’s currently up to and how she felt about the live show. Nikki did not make an appearance on the show, but two other past Tracy’s (Marissa Jaret Winokur and Ricki Lake) did!

“I’m thrilled that NBC has decided to put out a powerful musical with such a positive message for the country to see at such a pivotal point in our country’s history,” Nikki told JJ.
