The Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars have established themselves as entertainment’s most popular franchises!

Both owned by Disney, the MCU and Star Wars, have dominated the movie and TV release calendars over the last several decades.

If you weren’t aware, there are so many actors who have appeared in the MCU and Star Wars throughout their careers!

Star Wars: Ahsoka is set just after the fall of the Empire and follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

Dave Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel and Rick Famuyiwa stepped behind the camera to direct.

Star Wars: Ahsoka will hit Disney+ on August 23 with the first two episodes.

Just a few months ago, Ray suddenly passed away and this seems to be one of his final projects.

Disney+ is making an exciting announcement.

On Wednesday (June 7), the streamer revealed the premiere date for the upcoming Star Wars series Ahsoka, as well as a new TV spot set to air during the NBA Finals Game 3.

Ray Stevenson, who you may recognize for his work in the Thor movies, RRR, and Punisher: War Zone, has tragically passed away at the age of 58.

He was also part of the Star Wars universe having voiced the role of Gar Saxon in The Clone Wars and Rebels. He is also featured in The Mandalorian spinoff Ahsoka, which has yet to debut. The show is currently slated for an August 2023 premiere on Disney+.

The ladies of Star Wars: Ahsoka gather up for a group shot following a special panel for the upcoming series in London over the weekend.

As part of the 2023 Star Wars Celebration held at ExCel, Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Diana Lee Inosanto, Ivanna Sakhno and Ray Stevenson, joined writer Dave Filoni at the panel as more cast for the show was announced.

It turns out that Lars Mikkelson, who voiced Grand Admiral Thrawn in Star Wars Rebels will be back playing the character in the live action show.

In addition, David Tennant will provide the voice the droid Huyang. He previously voiced the droid in Clone Wars as well.

Naomi Watts is gorgeous as she arrives at the premiere of her latest film Allegiant held at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 Theater on Monday (March 14) in New York City.

The 47-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-stars Maggie Q and her fiance Dylan McDermott, Jeff Daniels, Bill Skarsgard, and Ray Stevenson with his wife Elisabetta Caraccia.

Dwayne Johnson and his girlfriend Lauren Hashian hit the red carpet at the premiere of his new film G.I. Joe: Retaliation on Thursday (March 28) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

The 40-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-stars Adrianne Palicki, Ray Stevenson, Elodie Yung, and director Jon M. Chu.

“Letting ya know that the best part of making #GIJoeRetaliation is happening right now… seeing how much you’re loving the movie! #Epic,” Dwayne tweeted earlier in the week after the film hit theaters.
