Trevor Noah's Final Episode of 'Daily Show' Ends With a Special Thank You to Black Women

Trevor Noah has signed off from The Daily Show after seven years as the host of Comedy Central’s late night program.

During his final episode, Trevor gave a tearful goodbye in which he thanked his fans and also gave a special thank you to the Black women who shape his life and career.

“I’ve often been credited with having these grand ideas,” Trevor said. “Who do you think teaches me? Who do you think has shaped me, nourished me, informed me? My mom, my grand, my aunts, all these Black women in my life.”

'The Daily Show' - 5 Guest Hosts Revealed After Trevor Noah Leaves This Week!

Trevor Noah is leaving The Daily Show on Thursday (December 8), and the guest hosts who will be temporarily taking his place have been revealed.

A group of guest hosts are set to take over the Comedy Central series before a new host (or hosts!) officially takes over, via Deadline.

All of the guest hosts have a lot of experience in late night hosting.

The Daily Show will return on January 17, and reportedly, most of the hosts will be in the chair “for around a week each.”

There have been no official announcements yet regarding who will be taking over the position, although it is thought that one of the guest hosts could get the job if they do enough to impress. Producers are also said to be discussing possibly expanding it to a duo or trio hosting gig.

The 58-year-old The Late Show host previously hosted the Comedy Central series The Colbert Report and was a correspondent and guest host for many years on The Daily Show.

Stephen is a guest on the new episode of Hell of a Week with Charlamagne tha God and he opened up about his thoughts for Trevor Noah‘s replacement.

“As long as [Trevor] is in that chair [Comedy Central] will be fine. They’ve got nothing to worry about as long as Trevor is hosting The Daily Show,” Stephen joked when asked about the replacement.

Stephen then offered up some potential names for the new host.
