Nicola Peltz shows off her resilience in the trailer for her directorial debut Lola.

The 29-year-old actress takes center stage in the drama, which highlights the titular character’s relationship with her beloved brother Arlo (Luke David Blumm) and their cruel mother Mona (Virginia Madsen).

The trailer sets the scene and introduces an unexpected challenge that threatens to overturn all the hard work Lola has taken on to make a better life for herself.

The official trailer for the upcoming movie Prey for the Devil has been released!

In the upcoming movie, Salvation actress Jacqueline Byers stars as a young nun who becomes an unlikely warrior on the spiritual battlefield.

Here is the full synopsis: “In response to a global rise in demonic possessions, the Catholic Church reopens exorcism schools to train priests in the Rite of Exorcism. On this spiritual battlefield, an unlikely warrior rises: a young nun, Sister Ann (Byers). Although nuns are forbidden to perform exorcisms, a professor (Colin Salmon) recognizes Sister Ann’s gifts and agrees to train her. Thrust onto the spiritual frontline with fellow student Father Dante (Christian Navarro), Sister Ann finds herself in a battle for the soul of a young girl (who Sister Ann believes is possessed by the same demon that tormented her own mother years ago), and soon realizes the Devil has her right where he wants her….and it wants in.”

Uzo Aduba is joined by her co-stars Danielle Brooks and Samira Wiley as they arrive at the Variety’s Celebratory Brunch on Saturday afternoon (January 28) at Cecconi’s restaurant in West Hollywood, Calif.

Fellow Orange is the New Black stars Adrienne C. Moore, Jessica Pimentel, Taryn Manning, Yael Stone, and Jolene Purdy were also in attendance at the event.

The brunch benefited the Motion Picture Television Fund and celebrated the work of this season’s biggest stars and nominees.

Other stars at the brunch included Anna Chlumsky, Yvette Nicole Brown, Virginia Madsen, and Jurnee Smollett-Bell.

The 40-year-old actor was honored at the event with the Actors Inspiration Award for “his exceptional onscreen career and philanthropic dedication as chairman of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, which raises awareness of both climate change and the need to protect biodiversity.”

Filmmakers Lee Daniels, Megan Ellison, and Rob Marshall were in attendance to receive the Patron of the Artists Awards.
