NCIS fans will have to wait another week for new episodes of their favorite shows.

CBS is taking a break from its regular Tuesday night lineup on November 3, meaning there won’t be new episodes of NCIS, NCIS: New York or NCIS: Origins tonight.

The network is airing live coverage of the 2026 midterm elections instead of its usual primetime programming.

The good news is that all three shows are scheduled to return next week, and we have the dates, times and upcoming episode details.

Why Aren’t the NCIS Shows on Tonight, November 3?

CBS is airing its America Decides election coverage beginning at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday (November 3).

The special programming replaces the network’s regular Tuesday night schedule, which normally consists of NCIS at 8 p.m., NCIS: New York at 9 p.m. and NCIS: Origins at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The interruption comes just a few weeks after all three shows returned for their new seasons on October 6.

NCIS is currently in Season 24, while NCIS: New York is airing its first season and NCIS: Origins is in Season 3.

When Do NCIS, NCIS: New York & NCIS: Origins Return?

All three shows are scheduled to return with new episodes on Tuesday, November 10, 2026.

Here’s the confirmed schedule:

– 8 p.m. ET/PT: NCIS Season 24, Episode 5, “Speechless”

– 9 p.m. ET/PT: NCIS: New York Season 1, Episode 5, “True Love”

– 10 p.m. ET/PT: NCIS: Origins Season 3, Episode 5, “Baila Esta Cumbia”

The shows are returning to their usual Tuesday night timeslots, so the schedule change is only a one-week interruption.

The next episode of NCIS will follow the team as an investigation involving a missing Marine leads them to a young girl with a special talent.

Meanwhile, the newest spinoff, NCIS: New York, continues following Sam Hanna, played by LL Cool J, alongside Nick Schaeffer, played by Scott Caan.

NCIS: Origins continues exploring the early career of Leroy Jethro Gibbs, played by Austin Stowell, with Mark Harmon also appearing as the present-day Gibbs throughout Season 3.
